You will be required to work the following rotational shift: Early Shift 20.00-05.00 / Late Shift 23.00 - 08.00.  Due to the nature of the business, a flexible approach to working hours is essential within this demanding role.

Applicants will ideally have a background in freight forwarding/courier operations and have experience working with clients from the pharmaceutical industry and dealing with time-critical shipments.

LOGISTICS AGENT: Based in Middlesex this Customer Service Agent position main responsibility will be looking after a key account, preparing export documentation, and pre-alerting agents.  Other main duties and responsibilities will include: To take jobs from clients; Tracking and tracing shipments; Hourly checking of job files; Set up and organise special deliveries; Ensure all billing is kept up-to-date; Develop and maintain relationships with clients; etc,.  Hours will be Monday-Friday 14.00 - 22.00.

Experience / Qualifications required are as follow: Works well unsupervised under pressure; Is confident when dealing with clients; Create a positive work environment; Excellent communication skills; Computer and typing skills; Demonstrate experience in airline routing, both international and domestic; Knowledge of time zones; Knowledge of geography (including countries, major cities, airport codes, transit times, etc); Knowledge of Courier and Air Freight services; Knowledge of arranging Sameday deliveries, On-Board Couriers and direct drives; Good spelling, reading, geography and arithmetic skills; Demonstrate ability to identify and solve problems; Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrate knowledge of company policies and procedures; Demonstrate ability to sell clients the proper service type; To be organised and able to prioritise.  Must have excellent Customer Service skills, and a good telephone manner is essential.

NIGHT EXPORT OPERATIONS: Based in Middlesex, this freight forwarder is looking for an applicant to fill a Night Export Operations position.  This role will cover all aspects of courier and freight exports, and working alongside a driver on the night shift.  The shift will be Monday-Friday 10pm-6.30am.

Experience in courier and freight exports is essential.
