COURIER
COURIER CUSTOMER SERVICES
We are looking for a Courier Customer Services candidate to join this large freight forwarder. The Purpose of the role:
- To provide a 1st class courier customer service experience to our customers and assist with daily queries in a professional and prompt manner.
- Acting as account managers ensuring deadlines are met whilst promoting premium services offered by the Company.
Key Duties:
- Review previous nights hand-over report and deal with any problems accordingly• Check with agents to ensure previous days specials have been actioned.
- Ensure collections are arranged in accordance with procedures
- Answer incoming calls in accordance with company procedures
- Deal with customer enquiries efficiently
- Provide clients with PODs and tracking information
- Fax weight amendment and volumetric notifications to clients as required
- Quotations and up-selling
- Liaise with agents / suppliers
- Advise clients of any delays to special deliveries
- Ensure Operations are made aware of any special request / routing via the hand-over
- Monitor Internet Bookings for any special requirements
- Fax or Email pre-alerts / special requests as required
- Ensure all problems are documented in tracking system
- Provide cover and assistance as needed for other departments
- Advise Operations of customers requirements for Pre-Printed AWBs / supplies
- Advise accounts of any special billing
- Key Account person for BP

COURIER CUSTOMER SERVICES
Medium-sized Courier Company based in ASHFORD, MIDDLESEX are looking for an experienced candidate to work within the Customer Services department. Applicant must have previous experience within this field, with at least 2 yrs+ knowledge of Courier systems etc. Driving licence/Car Owner is essential as this position involves a shift of Monday to Friday covering 0700 - 19.00 (40 Hour week)

Specialized courier/freight company based HEATHROW requires a experienced courier/freight with a sound knowledge of exports to join their small but expanding team. This is a varied operational role that could involve warehouse duties. D/L preferred.
