Field Sales Executive

Our client is a trusted partner to some of the world’s largest technology, medical, media & finance companies. The company has achieved this through a dedication to provide a managed service which includes storage, same day and international logistics over a 20-year period of trading.  This role would be selling courier type services for same day, overnight and international.

With a desire to continue our journey of growth we are looking for an External Account Manager, who will be tasked with finding new revenue streams for the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company, the role includes an element of telesales, account visits and development of an existing customer base.

Duties:

  • Identifying new clients and opportunities through a combination of an existing customer base and new business.
  • With an understanding of all services offered you will build a pipeline of business from a varied range of markets.
  • Development of an CRM system which will assist you in achieving all new business targets.
  • Developing and broadening relationships with existing customers to maximise sales penetration within each customer

Candidate requirements:

  • Must have previous experience in the logistics market.
  • A desire to make a difference to the business and its future.
  • Proven track record in new business development.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • An open and likeable personality with honesty and integrity.

The company is looking to pay in the region of £20000 - £26000 + uncapped commission.
