Our client in the Gatwick is looking for a Purchasing and Shipping Officer .

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Purchasing policy and planning
  2. Purchasing project prioritization and management
  3. Managing purchasing information and systems
  4. Managing suppliers and relationships
  5. Effective proactive liaison with other departments as necessary to forecast, plan to meet, and to supply demand to relevant quality
  6. Negotiating and administration of purchasing contracts
  7. Cost saving budgeting and targeting
  8. Setting and planning how to achieve supplier accreditation and service level management
  9. Administration and reporting as necessary
  10. Payment terms negotiation, optimization and management
  11. Stock and materials management
  12. Distribution and shipping management
  13. Packaging and transport regulatory awareness, compliance and information communication
  14. Health and safety compliance
  15. International trading issues/imports/legal, awareness and management
  16. Comply with all relevant company and statutory health and safety procedures and guidelines.
  17. Comply with all relevant company quality procedures and guidelines.
  18. Procurement and pricing of spares

Salary £30-33k
