Regional Sales Coordinator

This commercial company based Basingstoke, Hampshire requires an experienced Export Sales Coordinator for their export overseas markets. This role would require an applicant to be fluent in French.

The main duties of the role would be:

  • Building good working relationships with internal suppliers and customers in particular with Export Logistics and Documentation, Production, Finance, Regulatory and Purchasing.
  • Enter orders onto in-house system and raise commercial invoices for shipping.
  • Check orders against packing lists
  • Investigate errors on packing list compared to the order with Production.
  • Investigate any customer complaints and implement remedial action or escalate issues to the appropriate authority/department.
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for other members of the Export Sales Administration team.
  • Provide quotations and proformas as required.
  • Handle customer issues and enquiries in a timely manner via email and phone.
  • Learn and understand the product range & marketplace so can look after desk accounts.
  • Investigate how to maximise business from desk accounts
  • Understand what types of products can open up the new markets
  • Develop relationships with customers in accordance with the requirements of the RBM - France, Middle East and Africa.
  • Sales and marketing support? Liaise with customers regarding:

    ? Coordination of translation of regulatory materials and labelling

    ? resolving logistical queries in conjunction with Export Logistics.

    ? resolving queries on order scheduling

  • Provide administrative support for RBM -France, Middle East and Africa? updating the customer database for the region

    ? updating customer price lists

    ? updating the product database and submitting requests for new products as they are required

    ? manage sample requests for the region

    ? other administrative duties including filing and archiving

    ? Answer telephone calls as required.

    ? Processing export documentation/ Letters of Credit working with the Logistics and Export Documentation team.

  • Liaise with Marketing Department to:? ensure promotional material is available for customers & trade shows

    ? labelling is consistent with marketing brand image

    ? keep updated with any development of new artwork for products.

  • Initiate process of setting up new products by submitting New Product Forms to Procurement.
  • Managing paperwork to set up customer accounts and liaising with Finance to ensure this happens.
  • Oversee the updating and ongoing legal conformity of product labelling with liaison with the Technical Dept.
  • Opportunity to attend overseas trade shows to promote the business directly to perspective customers
  • Opportunity for occasional Foreign travel to familiarise & build relationships with export customers

  • Other reasonable duties as required by management.

The salary package is in the region £25000 to £30000 plus Health Care, Pension and 23 days holiday.
