Operations Process Analyst

This is a unique role within this large worldwide freight forwarder. The role can be carried out remotely either from one of their UK offices or can be based from home. There will be some UK travel to Head office or other locations.

The position will require:

• strong operational expertise in all aspects of the freight / CargoWise system operation

• keeping the key users and Branch Managers fully informed of changes in the system

• testing of system upgrades

• training of branch key users and Branch Managers

• analysis to improve productivity and efficiencies

• raising issues to second level support , monitor progress and notify resolutions

Key Activities / Accountabilities

• CDMT Helpdesk Management and Maintenance

• Manage and Maintain UK Next Gen Security Matrix in Production and TS2 (Test)

• Manage and Maintain Client Rates and Supplier Costings

• Create and Maintain local documentation: Manuals, Reference Documents, 'How To' Guides

• Attend on-line training from Level 2, Implementation Team, Process Teams

• Identify challenges and provide practical solutions to maintain efficient services

• Complete understanding of the import/export air/ocean and Gateway operation

• Fully understand the customer needs and requirements

• Work closely with branch managers/key users to seek improvements and implement change

• Constantly look to improve quality and service provided

• Operate within companies QA system, including clean desk policy

• Maintain clear and regular communication within the organisation

• Work with and alongside other management

• Assist Regional Director in other projects as appropriate

Essential Education and/ or Training

  • Wise Tech Accreditation: CCS level required and willingness to obtain CCP accreditation level (mandatory)
  • Good understanding and knowledge of the following system: SSRS Reporting Tool

  • Minimum 3 years' current operational experience/knowledge

Salary will be in the region of £35000 to £42000 aae
